SUBSCRIPTIONS. Unless the other party asks for it in their profile/pin, I usually sub without interacting first, which you can take to mean I read some of your posts and found them interesting. Statistically speaking, I probably found you through clicking a lot of links on old comms.

ACCESS POLICY. Most of my journal entries aren't f-locked. I give access to mutual subs and if you give me access yourself I'll usually reciprocate, but locked posts are very rare and mostly used to hide stuff that I feel give away too much personal info (I'm growing progressively more privacy-minded with age), which often means complaining about real life.

COMMENTS. In general, you can leave comments on every entry, no matter how old, because I probably still want to hear what you have to say on this thing I thought about in January of 2023. If you recently subscribed and just feel like saying "hi", feel free to leave a comment under this post. I'll say "hi" back!

Oh, boy, I'm glad I managed to sound even remotely interesting given how little effort I feel like I'm putting in my DW! I even managed to get behind on the snowflake challenge after the first day, ha...

Don't stress over the interactions too much. If you post stuff, it'll come up on my feed and I'll see at least some of it. If you comment in my blog, I usually reply. Something is always going on somewhere; talk about it when you feel inspired and have the energy.

Love The Raven Cycle! I have both of her new books, but have yet to read them. o_O I had planned on rereading TRC before starting them and that's where things still stand. *g*

I have a cat! Or, should I say, a cat has me? He belonged to my aunt; we took him in when she had to be placed in assisted living. I never realized how much I'd enjoy having a cat. (Or being had by . . . you get the picture. *g*)

They're definitely a different vibe from the original TRC, but still very fun to read! Also if you ever read some 2015 fan theories, there's a few of them that have been somewhat implied canon now and ngl those made me scream. Personally I was very into Stief's writing style pre-TRK but that's about my only gripe.

What pre-TRC books/series would you recommend?

Oh, I meant the style of the first three (so before Raven King)! But from what I gather Scorpio Races is the most similar to that that she's written and it's a fave for many. I have yet to read that one though, I tried Shiver but she definitely feels less experienced in that.

I have been here for a while I'm just not very active (I moved the first time Twitter had a buy scare).

Actually really like Dreamwidth is a little hard to get around it but I love how fandom is here. There is a lot of events and communities and zero drama. Basically fandom heaven.

PS: I also change the appearance of my page frequently is part of the fun.
